These vegan, chocolatey, peanut butter topped protein pancakes have a hidden ingredient - Hawaiian Spirulina. A healthy breakfast choice or make ahead and freeze for a snack later in time, these pancakes are sure to please everyone in the family.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4 pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 scoop vegan chocolate protein (or vanilla protein + ½ tablespoon cacao powder)
- 1 teaspoon Hawaiian Spirulina powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
- ¾-1 cup nondairy milk
Directions:
Mix everything together then cook in a pan over medium/low heat, this makes 9 small pancakes or 4 regular pancakes. Once cooked, top pancakes with banana coins, peanut butter, chocolate chips and maple syrup.
